So, you’re considering a session with us but you’re stuck on what **exactly** you want your session to look like, sound about right? Don’t worry, you’re not alone AND we’re here to help!
Most sessions take place in our downtown Cape Girardeau, MO studio, but we are always open to travel by plane, train or boat to whatever amazing destination you have in your mind!
Here are just a few ideas and inspiration that you can consider while planning your boudoir session with us!
Bridal Boudoir – sneak in your dress, bring your garter and veil, spoil yourself (and your fiancé) with a new lingerie set for your wedding night & include it in your session. We guarantee they'll melt when they see your custom album!
Couples Session – the possibilities are truly endless here.. but a few of our favorite ideas are: a pillow fight, snuggling up in bed, painting each other, and a spicy outdoor picnic!
Maternity Boudoir – show off your bump and celebrate your new adventure and joy! We love a beautiful maternity photo.
Birthday - Cue the confetti! (We will pick up the mess!) We celebrate with you by bringing in balloons, showering you in confetti, and eating cupcakes! What a way to turn the page!
Occupation or Hobby – this can be for YOU and celebrating your job or hobbies, (yoga anyone?) or it can be for your significant other’s [every single occupation can be represented, we may just have to get creative on some! and hobbies are so unique and special, that we can easily incorporate them without it being “too cheesy”] We've seen firefighter uniforms, stethoscopes, jackets, and the classic button-up shirt!
Go Sports! – Seriously though, any sport will work! Football, baseball, basketball, boxing, golf, etc.
We've had sessions with jerseys and even pool sticks!
Simple & Elegant – strip down and wrap yourself up in a sheet – that’s it! You can show off a lot of skin, without being ‘too revealing’ with this.
Implied/nude – strip down and flaunt it all! This is the perfect way to show off details and truly focus on the beauty of your body. We will use sheer fabrics, robes, sheets, and if you're comfortable with it, nothing at all!
Food & Drinks – the possibilities are truly endless here, but a few favorites are: champagne, cake and cupcakes, chocolate, whipped cream, whisky, beer, etc. I love a good cupcake photo and we've even poured beer in our tub!
Drip Sessions - Wet t-shirts, fake ice cubes, water droplets, let's heat things up!
Retro - Lights, Camera.. You. Feather robes, curled hair, red lips, stockings, winged eyeliner, pearls and hollywood vibes!
