At Megan Kathleen Boudoir, we believe that every woman deserves to feel beautiful, confident, and empowered. Our studio was born out of a personal journey and a passion for helping women embrace their true selves through the art of boudoir photography.
Photography has always played a significant role in my life. From my teenage years to my early 20s, I worked as a model, and it was during those years that I discovered the transformative power of being in front of a camera. Despite not being a confident person at the time, the experience with skilled photographers brought out a side of me that I didn’t know existed and that feeling of newfound confidence and beauty was something I wanted to share with other women. We are so used to seeing ourselves in the mirror, we forget how beautiful we are through a strangers eyes (and lens!) I focus on boudoir photography to encourage self-love and appreciation for our bodies, free from the harsh criticism we often place upon ourselves.
My philosophy in capturing the beauty and essence of my clients is simple: I want them to feel like themselves on their best day. My goal is to showcase their favorite features and help them see even those features they were previously unsure about in a new and positive light. I want every woman to walk away from their session feeling beautiful as they are, more confident, and ready to challenge the societal norms that often make us feel less than.
Ensuring that my clients feel comfortable and empowered during their sessions is a top priority for me. I create a cozy and welcoming environment where women can relax and be themselves. I guide them fully through each pose, providing encouragement and cheering them on every step of the way. To me, each woman truly is beautiful, and I want them to see that for themselves.
When I’m not in the studio, I love spending my free time playing puzzle games with my pittie, reading self-improvement books, and watching crime shows. I’m a big fan of iced coffee and enjoy going on lunch and brunch dates. Hosting friends for drinks and dinner, and exploring local events are also some of my favorite ways to unwind and connect with the community.
